So many signs, so little time...

I have a lot to post here. It's been a while but I've been having problems posting my new work. So here goes. This first one was a beautiful sign I did for a spring wedding. I was really excited because I have had this design idea for a while and have been waiting to use it. I presented it, and she loved it. Easy as that! Then this next one was gifted to a friend from a girl who had previously ordered a sign from me before. It's totally classic and hilarious. Check out the saying...
This next sign is something I'm especially proud of. It was made for a friend who recently got married. We designed this sign to look similar to a wine label and to model it after the place she got engaged and their wine labels. While I was painting it I thought to myself, why do I tell people I can do these things. I like to aim high. However, it actually came out a lot better than initially expected. I was very afraid, but it turned out amazing!!

New wedding work...

I'm in the middle of two major weddings. We just completed and order for one of the wedding's Save the Dates. A friend of mine I went to high school with is getting married and hired me for the paper goods on her wedding, as well as a wedding sign. As of now, we have designed the Save the Dates and are on our way to completing a design for the invitations and enclosure cards and we're working on finalizing the design for the wedding sign. The picture is of the front and back of the save the date.

The other major wedding I have the privilege of being involved with is also another friend from high school. Actually, a fellow cheerleader!! I am doing all the paper goods for this wedding as well. I will be doing the save the dates, invitations, table numbers, place cards, menu cards, programs, etc. I also designed a monogram for their wedding that will be included as a design on their invitation. Also pictured is the front and back of their save the date. Melissa and Kevin are super lucky to have sought after photographer Caroline Winata of TinyWater as their photographer not only for the engagement pictures but as their wedding photographer. Enjoy the beautiful photos in the save the date I designed below...

Stay tuned for the rest of the paper goods for both of these weddings. There is a lot more to come including custom invitations!

Some other work I am doing is some table "numbers" for a client. Instead of your standard table numbers, she is having wine names as the table names. She has also requested a couple specialty table cards including one for a photo booth, candy buffet, and cards naming the bride and groom's table and their names with the saying, Happily Ever After for their place card table.

New, new, and even newer!!

It has been quite some time and I have SO much to share. With the Christmas season, I became very busy with orders to fill for signs to be given as gifts. There were multiple signs given as gifts this year, and one given as the ultimate gift.
First was a sign done for my friend to give to her parents as a Christmas gift:

The next was a sign done for another friend who needed a gift for her aunt and uncle:

And the very last sign I did was another Christmas gift, but this was in the works for quite some time. We had planned this back in October and it was literally completed just 2 days before Christmas. It definitely took a long time to create such a masterpiece, but the time and effort was worth it and it came out even better than expected. To be honest, I was really nervous on how it would turn out. I have never attempted to re-create such a masterpiece, I usually design the signs myself. But this was a favorite and has turned into my favorite sign I've done so far. I'm very proud of the outcome. See for yourself!
